Project experiences

The area of model-based software engineering is a major part of my work experience. I incorporated several ideas into SoftwareStraat.NET, which is the first software development suite certified by Microsoft Consulting Services in the Netherlands. For Tam Tam I designed and implemented an API and a tool to support abstract data modeling. It is based upon the OMG Model Driven Architecture (MDA) and XML Meta-Data Interchange (XMI), an XML document standard for UML. Click here for a screenshot of the tool.

In addition, I designed and created several applications and web sites. Most implementations incorporate a three-tier architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability. Examples of my work are the sites of the Vogelbescherming Nederland (partner of BirdLife International in the Netherlands) and the Dutch Meat Board. These sites are based upon the Microsoft .NET platform and all have customized, integrated Content Management Systems.

Currently I'm working for a multi-utilities client in the Netherlands. Part of my job is to provide analysis and support of the billing system CorDaptix and related procedures.
